I have since moved to North Georgia and I so desperately miss Portuguese food. I cook it as often as I can with ingredients my parents send me and am fortunate enough to return home about 3 times a year to enjoy the culture and authentic food, but I do miss my hometown so much. I have never cooked Portuguese steak before, but when I saw your recipe, I had to try it. It is SPOT ON with Academica/Caravela. WOW! My husband and I enjoyed every bite. I can't wait to make it again. Simple and so delicious. Thanks for sharing this. It was fanstastic!!!!Kristy L. I placed an order online, then called twice, emailed twice - all with no response. The pies were delivered five days later and my dad, unfortunately, did not enjoy them at all. He said, and I quote, "don't send those again". So disappointing.
